France-England: The English team, a favorite "ready to give everything on the pitch" at the Women's Euro football championship

When it comes to football, the English have a way with words. As each major international competition approaches, they also cultivate unwavering optimism about their national teams' chances. This is evidenced by the slogan of the national federation, the Football Association (FA), which is supporting the Lionesses – the Lionesses, the official nickname of the English players – for Euro 2025 , held in Switzerland until July 27: "It's time to go again!" Meaning: it's time to do it again!

Captain Leah Williamson and her teammates make their tournament debut on Saturday, July 5, against the French team in Zurich.
